Early in March, we hosted the Junior Duke Spaghetti Tower-Building World Championships.
Amazingly, we had 867 entries from schools in almost 40 countries!
Huge thanks to all of the teachers who went to the shops to buy spaghetti and marshmallows and raided the school cupboards for blutack and sellotape!
The rules were tight and clearly adhered to. We received photos and videos of some fabulous: team work, planning, cooperation, collaboration, communication and competition.
We had two separate categories: a younger category and an older one and children from six schools, in five countries can be seen on the podiums.
We are delighted to have seen such enthusiasm and look forward to seeing even more schools entering our next World Champs which will be held in early November.
